Your Content
When you submit material to Pousse-Pousse through our websites, you agree that you are solely responsible for the content you provide and any resulting consequences. Pousse-Pousse is not liable for any loss or damage that may result from your actions. You acknowledge that your submissions are made on a non-confidential basis.
In line with our non-profit goals, you grant Pousse-Pousse and its licensees a global, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable (through multiple tiers), royalty-free, non-exclusive right and license to:
- Pre-grant materials (e.g., applications and proposals): Copy and create derivative works to evaluate potential grants internally and with external advisors and consultants.
- Post-grant materials (e.g., project reports): Copy and create derivative works to assess the performance of the grant, involve external advisors and consultants, and fulfill other rights and obligations as per the Grant Agreement.
- Work Product Portal materials: Copy, create derivative works, and publicly perform, distribute, and display these materials in any format or medium. However, Pousse-Pousse will not publicly perform, distribute, or display the full-length version of your work products or their abstracts without your prior written consent.
Additionally, Pousse-Pousse may use, copy, create derivative works from, and publicly perform, distribute, and display your content to comply with legal requirements or respond to regulatory requests.
Importantly, Pousse-Pousse does not claim ownership of your content. You retain full ownership and licensing rights, subject to the rights granted to Pousse-Pousse in these terms.
You represent and warrant that:
- You own your content or have sufficient rights to grant Pousse-Pousse the license without infringing on any third-party rights.
- Your content is accurate and complete.
- Your content is not subject to industry-specific regulations like the U.S. Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act or the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
Pousse-Pousse reserves the right to review your content using automated tools or manual processes and may remove or refuse to display any content for any reason at its sole discretion.
Other Content on the Websites
Pousse-Pousse’s websites may contain content such as published research, owned either by Pousse-Pousse, third parties that allow us to distribute their content, or other website users. Pousse-Pousse grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to view this content for personal, non-commercial purposes, or as part of a Pousse-Pousse grant, provided no additional license is required.
You may not distribute copies of content without prior written permission from the owner, except for activities that do not require a license. Third-party content is protected under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, and Pousse-Pousse does not claim ownership of such content. You must not alter or remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices from third-party content.
Pousse-Pousse reserves the right to modify its websites at any time, including rearranging, deleting, adding, or changing content or features.
Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use Pousse-Pousse’s websites for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:
- Posting or transmitting libelous, obscene, threatening, or defamatory content, or content that infringes on intellectual property rights.
- Posting or distributing unsolicited bulk or commercial messages (“spam”).
- Uploading, posting, or distributing copyrighted material without permission.
- Engaging in activities such as phishing, impersonation, or sender address falsification.
- Restricting or interfering with another person’s use of the websites, including generating excessive traffic or spreading malware.
- Collecting or harvesting email addresses or other identifiers without consent.
- Circumventing access controls, using automated means to access the websites, or engaging in systematic data retrieval to create a compilation, database, or directory without permission.
- Manipulating or distorting ratings or reviews of programs, services, or products.
Your Passwords and Unauthorized Use of Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password and controlling access to any devices storing these credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities under your account, including those by individuals with whom you share access. If you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify Pousse-Pousse immediately.
Pousse-Pousse does not permit credential sharing. You are responsible for the confidentiality and security of all account usernames and passwords and must not share access to your account with anyone else. To protect your privacy, log out of the websites after each visit when using a public or shared device.
